授業の概要・ねらい	Note: This course is held in English. The course has been designed to understand the ideological premises and realties of multicultural societies, through case studies of various areas including the West and Asia.
到達目標	* Understanding the basic idea of multiculturalism both in the Western context and Asian one. * Comparative study of the multicultural policies and realities in various Asian countries. * Gaining insights of the multicultural future through appreciating various forms of pop art (songs, movies, novels, etc.) created by multicultural artists.

評価の基準	assigned presentation and term paper
具体的評価方法	presentation 30%, term paper 30%, active participation 40%
