授業の概要・ねらい	●英語クラスの部（春）（以下”英部”とする）＝To attain some understandings of basic concepts, theories, and research methods in the study of culture at the same time as getting used to commuincative environment in English. ※英語の部は主に英語科教職課程の履修生が英語に慣れ、英語を用いたコミュケーションの技法を体得することを念頭に行う＝The Spring English Section of this course is especially designed for students enrolled in Teaching Japanese as a Second Language (TJSL) can get used to English as well as cultivate their English communication skills. ●日本語クラスの部（秋）（以下”日部”とする）＝「アジア学」の根幹をなすといえる「異文化理解」に関わるコンセプトと基礎理論、そして研究の方法論を徹底的に学ぶ。海外研修や日本研修、アジア文化ないし地域デザイン関連のコース、そして卒業研究の達成はおろか、グローバル化が益々進む社会への飛躍を目指す学生たちにとって有用不可欠な文化社会科学的視座を身に着ける。
到達目標	異文化理解に必要な基礎知識を習得し、思考能力を養う。
